Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

I wish this shop was in my index of places to shop for Mexican produce before I made a Mole sauce. A New York Times short article, Flavors of Mexico, Made Fresh in Manhattan, is an article/advertisement for this little shop selling dried chilies, epazote, avocado leaf, Mexican oregano, and imported coco-cola sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup.

Do I need someone to remind me how to eat healthy? Michael Pollen is interviewed by the New York Times promoting his new book, Food Rules. Digest this healthy article, Michael Pollan Offers 64 Ways to Eat Food.

I crave Chocolate Peanut cups or Peanut M&M’s when stressed. A crazy run to the nearest drugstore provides Reese’s version, the quickest stress reliever to be found anywhere, anyplace. Newman’s Own dark chocolate version allows the consumption of a thinly, veiled treat that looks healthy. Himalayan sea salt is included in Vosges’ milk chocolate peanut butter bonbons. It’s a splurge into financial abyss, but I will come up happy. Last Christmas, my boyfriend’s client gave him a box of homemade peanut butter cups. I  thought she was trying to seduce me.
