This past weekend, we went home for Mother’s Day. As usual, the father did our favorite seafood boil and cinnamon rolls. He also showed us the flowers, herbs and vegetables he planted.

In the end, my father gave us a small pot of basil started from seeds. They’re still on my window still, waiting to be planted in their new home outside.
